Discover Your Creative Journey with Us
Mindful, sustainable and educational creative workshops for every generation, celebrating the beauty of nature, the transformative power of the seasons and the powerful benefits of making.

Hi there!
I’m Heather Cassidy, an Artist and Art & Craft Facilitator based in Millisle, Northern Ireland. My journey into creativity began 25 years ago as an Art Student. Life took me in some amazing directions working as a Special Needs Classroom Assistant and Tutor. I relished the opportunities to adapt work to individuals' needs and spend time studying Occupational Therapy to consolidate these skills.
As a nature lover, I began to connect the changing seasons with my creative process. This, combined with my experience home educating my son, showed me how art and craft, combined with nature, could nurture both well-being and learning in a mindful, non-threatening way. There are so many moments of joy to be had practising art that appreciates the beauty of the world around us.

I work with families, community groups, charities and businesses to provide workshops that boost health and wellbeing, increase problem solving skills and innovation, foster a deeper connection to the world around us, increase tolerance and understanding, explore culture, bring joy and build closer and more successful communities. All my workshops are individually designed for its participants, honing in on specific benefits, adaptations and accessibility. Although I run regular classes at Boom Studios in Bangor, I have also worked with Sostrene Greene, the Simon Community and the King's Trust.
