Community Art Sessions

“Art should be something that liberates your soul, provokes the imagination and encourages people to go further.” – Keith Haring

Art is the perfect tool in community work.  It enables participants to grow in personal and community skills, alleviates mental illness, boosts wellbeing, promotes unity, allows people to explore culture and heritage in a non threatening way and encourages friendship, co-operation and hope.

As an experienced Community Art Facilitator, I bring joyful, hands on creative gatherings that your participants will not only enjoy, but will learn skills that they can take home and continue with.  Please see below for workshops I am delighted to deliver...

As a Mixed Media Artist, I am able to deliver most types of art techniques including printmaking, embroidery, abstract painting, seasonal crafting, paper and fabric crafts, drawing techniques, watercolour, Gelli plate printing, and much more!  Here are some images from previous sessions.

I have particular expertise in the areas of trauma and disability awareness, equality and diversity, adjusting activities to suit abilities, have training in the Paint Your Mind Art for Wellbeing program, Level 2 and 3 Counselling Training and am a qualified Art Therapy Practitioner.
