ART & CRAFT FROM THE CELTIC WHEEL OF THE YEAR

Join Heather for a series of nature based, mindful and fascinating workshops based around the Ancient Celtic Wheel of the Year. We will be exploring the traditional crafts of the time and applying our own personal ideas to create finished pieces that we can use to decorate our homes or gift to loved ones.

These workshops will be informal and friendly and you won't need any artistic talent or skill (although Heather believes we all possess these!). As well as learning about our fascinating heritage, we will explore both modern and traditional methods such as printmaking, weaving, embroidery and botanical art.​

​​MERRY & BRIGHT INKTENSE EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP

Come and spend a cozy morning with Heather Cassidy, Textile Artist, creating a gorgeous Christmas hoop to decorate your home! This workshop is completely beginner friendly and Heather will guide you as you learn or rekindle such a relaxing and mindful skill. We'll begin by colouring a pre-drawn hat and mittens with magical inktense pencils and we'll follow by adding texture and colour with simple embroidery stitches. As if that wasn't enough, we'll be indulging in home baked cakes, tea, coffee & hot chocolate. Come along....and bring a friend!

MERRY CHRISTMAS ADVENT SEWALONG (sold out)

1st - 25th December or at your own pace

It can be difficult to get out to classes, especially during the busy Festive Season.  I hear you!  That's why this December I'm running a fantastically Festive Sewalong.  All you need to do is purchase your kit from me and you'll be added to a friendly and fun Facebook group where I'll encourage, demonstrate and entertain as we go along!  We'll also have some fun quizzes and videos thrown in and a meet up at Starbucks, Bangor (10th December 7-8.30) in the middle to sew together and have some craic.

​

Stitch a festive motif each day in the run-up to Christmas, while learning 12 classic embroidery stitches along the way. Whether you're new to embroidery or looking to refresh your skills, this joyful project is a calming and rewarding way to celebrate the season.

​
