The St Brigid's Cross is a symbol used in Christianity to celebrate St Brigid but also has roots in Celtic history with Brigid being a symbol of the arts and poetry.  St Brigid is often pictured as a Goddess with flowing red hair and was known as the "Goddess of Poets" and a "Woman of Wisdom".  What a beautiful, powerfully feminine symbol to celebrate this exciting time of year, steeped in the stirrings of new life.
